Every day, people interact with hundreds of computer systems without realising. Many of these are components in our infrastructure, such as onboard trains, planes and cars, or at a larger scale, in power grids or satellites. Whilst safe design is common in these systems, security is a newer challenge especially since hardware is often deployed and left in use for many years. As infrastructure continues to increase its usage of connectivity and potential attackers improve their capabilities, security becomes ever more important.

Our research identifies security vulnerabilities and countermeasures in a range of infrastructure systems, primarily looking at the automotive, satellite and aviation domains.
